The “Schweizerischer Hülfsverein in Ceylon” was founded on 15th September 1933 – so we can celebrate 75 years of a Swiss society in Sri Lanka. In the beginning the main purpose was to provide assistance to needy Swiss citizens. In 1956 the Swiss Circle Colombo was established in order to promote social activities among Swiss Nationals in Ceylon. The committee will arrange a special event in September and will inform you on the website under “events” what’s going on.
